RC Day 23 - Svoirée

I’m operating on about three of eight cylinders today, so not super adventurous.

• Main thing was running Svelte Svoirée (RC events have an alliterative naming tradition), where I gave a semi-rehearsed, slightly chaotic intro to Svelte. Looking back, I advertised it as suitable for complete newcomers to front-end, but maybe I gave too many details for that to be true. Food for thought.
• Also talked to some folks about pairing.
• Went to the weekly non-programming talks where I heard the metal-est story I’ve ever heard about a heart transplant and a hole in someone’s brain. (Both being the first-hand experience of the talk giver.)
• Did my daily TS, async, and SQL exercises.
