  • Execute Program.
  • Spent some time hacking together a little horizontal bar chart maker as practice for giving an ad-hoc Svelte tutorial, since I’m giving one on Wednesday.
  • Learned a bunch about Node, with particular attention to modules and packages, from a Frontend Masters course.
  • Pretty much it! I set a weekly intention to make a small Svelte thing each day. I won’t manage that, because I am too ambitious with scope, and to polish something takes longer, but it’s at least generating ideas.

Here’s a work in progress on the bar chart maker.

A nearly empty screen. The words 'POPULATION (MILLIONS)' are typed at the top, then a small plus icon is clicked. A horizontal bar appears, with inputs for a label and number. Three bars are created with the labels US, UK, and Brazil, and the numbers 329, 68, and 212 respectively, representing their populations in millions of people. The styling on the page is minimal.
